“All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast” … and to this, we agree! Having heard so many good things about Crowne Plaza Bahrain’s breakfast, we decided to treat ourselves to a scrumptious start of the day affair at La Mosaique Restaurant.
Buffet, a la carte, or both?
La Mosaique Restaurant is a spacious and elegant all-day dining restaurant offering an extensive international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the other hand, the restaurant’s a la carte menu is tailor-made to cater to every taste. We were able to embark on a culinary journey around the globe, from traditional Arabic favourites to continental options.
The extensive spread of the buffet included an allotment of breakfast staples including yogurts, cheeses, and pastries. Western favourites like baked beans, sausages and hash browns are also available. The assorted breakfast pastries include freshly baked croissants, pies and puffs of both savoury and sweet. Detox drinks, juices and hot beverages are also available.
If that’s not your thing, La Mosaique also has a selection of muesli, cereals and options from the a la carte menu. We had the restaurant’s much loved waffles which were perfectly crisp and golden on the outside and light on the inside! Another favourite of ours were the eggs on toast. Yum!
As expected, La Mosaique’s dishes were abundant and delicious. The lovely ambiance of the restaurant was definitely a plus! If that’s not enough to catch your attention, the Crowne Plaza Bahrain will be kicking their culinary game up a notch with their new executive chef.

From a very young age, Chef Janardan Das has already been passionate about food and cooking. This made him decide to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Hailing from the vibrant country of India, Chef Das aims to bring years of expertise and creativity at Crowne Plaza as the new Executive Chef.
According to Chef Das, he wants to improve and implement exciting plans for the hotel’s food and beverage scene. To position all the outlets as a destination is one of his main goals. “It’s not just about dining per se, it’s about creating unique experiences and ensuring that the guests have a great time”, he added.
Chef Das acknowledges the ever-changing present – keeping this in mind, he will try to reflect constant evolution in their offerings to cater to everyone. La Mosaique will maintain its outstanding menu with a few special touches here and there. Expect a thrilling September at Crowne Plaza and keep your eyes on the lookout for more updates!
