#32 Travel & Tourism Hub
Bahrain has over the years become a travel and tourism hub, with its attractions, culture, dining, and nightlife offerings. The island life attracts visitors from a number of countries and at the same time, Bahraini passport holders can travel to 83 countries without a visa.
The newly refurbished Bahrain International Airport reflects the island’s modern vibe. Facilitating seamless and good-value travel in and out of the country, as well as revolutionising Bahrain’s travel sector are a number of travel agencies such as the award-winning Dadabhai Travel.
For visitors coming to Bahrain, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority has a well-informed guide that encourages them to visit the cultural hubs, attractions, and beaches around the island.
In 2022, the BTEA launched its own Duck Tours-a bus that travels on both land and water-offering a cheerful experience and the view of Bahrain’s skyscrapers to tourists, both young and old.
