Gold City is the country’s largest jewellery centre located in the heart of Manama. Vendors at this modern gold souq sell gold, silver, pearls, and other precious metals along with antiques, traditional gifts, crafts, perfumes, and luxury carpets.
While traditional marketplaces find an important place in Bahrain’s shopping culture, malls provide shopping and entertainment for families around the island. MODA Mall is the Kingdom’s only dedicated luxury shopping destination housing the largest collection of high-end designer fashion and jewellery brands.
The Bahrain Mall is among the first few malls to be established in Bahrain. It once housed the first and largest retail hypermarket in the Kingdom, Géant. Apart from shopping options, the mall today is home to the largest indoor karting track and entertainment centre – Trax.
With over 340 brands, the Bahrain City Centre is the largest shopping, leisure, and entertainment centre in the Kingdom. It opened in 2008 and has since been an attractive destination for residents and tourists.
The Avenues Bahrain is the only seafront mall in the Kingdom. It offers visitors a unique ‘outdoor’ feel through its interior design. Visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment at the mall or a walk by the Bahrain Bay lagoon.
With eight LuLu Hypermarket stores across Bahrain, it is recognised as the largest retail chain in the Kingdom and the region. LuLu offers a wide range of products from groceries to fashion.
The list is endless with The Mall of Dilmunia, Seef Mall, Galleria Mall, Al A’ali Mall, and Al Liwan Mall among others offering a number of entertainment and shopping options for visitors on the island.
