The first-ever JD store in the Middle East has taken residence in the island’s newest shopping space, the beachfront Marassi Galleria, since 2nd May! The sports fashion retailer from the UK has partnered with GMG to set up this first franchise in the Middle East.
JD’s new outlet will showcase top-of-the-range products from big brands including Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Puma, The North Face, Jordan, Under Armour, and more.
A packed opening ceremony for the UK-based retailer all weekend included a ribbon-cutting event, and special appearances on Thursday by Bahraini rapper, Flipperachi ft. DJ Outlaw, in collaboration with New Balance. Customisations for Adidas and Puma footwear purchased all through Friday and Saturday were available to new customers. The first 100 customers at JD also stood a chance to win exciting gifts with purchases, all weekend.
