Situated in the much raved about K Hotel Bahrain, The K Lounge is reborn as an upscale lounge and bar. Just recently, we had the chance to witness a taste of what’s new, what’s next and what makes this trendy lounge the best.
There are plenty of choices for places to chill at in Juffair and around town, but there is nothing quite The K Lounge. Located conveniently just along the main road, The K Lounge has always been known to offer guests the perfect mix of upscale ambience and comfort. This has been taken to the next level with its recent redesign!
Designed with a modern concept and a touch of classiness, we immediately felt warm and cozy upon arrival. The contemporary interiors in neutral color palettes, picturesque artworks and plush seats added to the fresh ambiance of the lounge. At first sight, we were bemused by the sprawling space of The K Lounge. It is one of the largest lounges in Bahrain with a back-to-back seating area and extended floor space.
A social oasis – the lounge is a good spot to enjoy drinks and meet new people. Apart from the bar stools, there are also more intimate seating areas around. Those who want to have a quieter time can sit at the opposite side of the live music area. Meanwhile, those who want to feel the vibrant pulse pumping from the state-of-the-art music station can lounge near the stage.
The revamped menu features what Executive Chef Nitai Chand calls, “contemporary cooking”, with fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as local produce and imported meats. The new menu can cater to a variety of discerning taste buds as it is a product of thorough research and surveys. According to Chef Nitai, he wants to offer a gastronomic adventure that is new and delicious while also being a value for money. Beyond light bites, the K Lounge offers an extensive, well-curated beverage list.
We sampled some dishes during our visit like the famous ‘Jumbo Prawn’ with tomato mozzarella, guacamole, asparagus with olives and spiced bell peppers, citrus saffron sauce and micro greens. We also had the mouthwatering ‘Filet Mignon’ made from Angus beef. Each bite into these dishes were so good, we couldn’t wait for what more is in store at The K Lounge.
As always, The K Lounge’s ultimate goal is to satisfy each guest. Despite it being the midst of summer, we felt like we were out of Bahrain. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful – the food, the presentation and the service.
The K Hotel Bahrain will continue to set standards in the lounging and nightlife scene with The K Lounge’s grand re-opening on the 26th August! Never a dull moment at this one-of-a-kind space!
