Team Bahrain lands in Abu Dhabi for IMMAF World Championships

A 27-strong Team Bahrain is in Emirati soil to participate in the International MMA Federation’s 2021 World Championship, which will take place between January 24-January 29 in Abu Dhabi.

Team Bahrain has set up camp in Al-Jasra at the Strong Village, where all fighters have done their training camps together under KHK MMA, which has been brought together under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The team is led by Bahrain MMA Federation president Mohammed Qamber, a host of world-class coaches led by head coach Eldar Eldarov and has a squad containing previous world champions Ramazan Gitinov, Sabrina Souza, and Pasha Karkhachaev.

Team Bahrain will look to get back to the first place on the official rankings they held until recently, with the prospects of big victories on the horizon in practically all of the weight classes presented by IMMAF.

The Team will start its road towards the first place on January 24th, with the brackets draw for each division, and are hopeful of making it to the last day, when the finals will take place at the IMMAF World Championships.
