Huawei launches its first mid-level 5G smartphone

Huawei launched its first mid-level 5G smartphone with HUAWEI nova 7 series. The move sees the company steps up its game with the new phone offering strong new features that give it an edge over other smartphones in its segment. Shipping 125 million units globally by end of December 2019, the Huawei nova series has been successful because of how each device carries strong features and trend-setting designs and the demand for it is continuing to grow.

The HUAWEI nova 7 SE is Huawei’s first 5G enabled mid-range smartphone, bringing to the segment years of experience and huge investments into 5G development. Between 2009 and 2019, Huawei has invested more than 4 billion USD in 5G research and has more than 20% of all 5G standard essential patents, which is the industry’s highest.

The HUAWEI nova 7 SE comes with the Kirin 820 5G chipset that gives users a stronger connectivity experience, while also holding a competitive edge. The advantage of this chipset stretches beyond 5G connectivity, as it also ensures smooth performance, low power consumption and less heat being generated, making the HUAWEI nova 7 SE a powerhouse smartphone. In addition, the HUAWEI AppAssitant feature allows for an immersive gaming experience with a floating window for responding to messages or adjust settings without having to quit the game.

With the ongoing growth of smartphone photography and photo based social media and sharing platforms, consumers need good cameras on their phones. Huawei has answered these demands by fitting the nova series with the latest in smartphone camera technology as witnessed by HUAWEI nova 7 5G. The HUAWEI nova 7 SE comes with a 64MP Hi-Res AI Quad Camera configuration, which consists of 64MP Hi-res lens, an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens for ultra-wide angle photography, a 2MP Bokeh lens for depth of field effects in portrait shots and a 2MP Macro lens for close-up shots. Other key features include DUAL-VIEW Video Mode that uses the front and rear cameras or the wide angle and main rear camera, to record videos at the same time, 30fps 4K Hi-res recording, 960 fps slow motion recording and an improved time-lapse feature. Users can also use the AI Ultra Clarity Mode that increases the picture clarity in bright light and sharpens details.

The Huawei nova series does not shy away from adding powerful performance components. Take the new HUAWEI nova 7 SE for example. Along with the Kirin 820 5G chipset that delivers on power and efficiency, users also get a 4000 mAh battery that lasts for extensive use and even charges back up quickly with 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

Another thing the Huawei nova series is known for is its design ethos. Instead of being simple bricks, all of Huawei’s nova devices boast a stylish and elegant design, often reinventing the segment entirely with new and unique colors and functional features. The new HUAWEI nova 7 SE brings to the table a massive 6.5 inch HUAWEI Punch FullView Display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution for an immersive viewing experience. This is complemented by the slim bezels and the small punch hole that houses the 16MP AI Selfie Camera. There is more that meets the eye with this camera, thanks to its AI algorithms and Super Night Selfie 2.0 which allow for low light selfies and sharp details.

While most mid-range smartphones pack in 64GB of storage and 3 to 6GB of RAM, the new HUAWEI nova 7 SE brings in 8GB of RAM for smoother operation and 128GB of storage, giving users more space to store precious memories without having to spend extra on storage solutions.

It is now even easier than ever for Huawei users to search for and download the apps they want directly from their home screen via Petal Search, a new search tool that offers Huawei users an open gateway to a million apps. The new smartphone comes with HUAWEI AppGallery pre-installed. This gives users access to a wide range of global and local apps that can be safely downloaded by searching from a well cataloged and categorized list. Huawei’s official marketplace, the HUAWEI AppGallery is the third largest app marketplace in the world, now in more than 170 countries and regions with more than 650 million Huawei device users. Since its launch in 2018, monthly active users (MAUs) have exceeded 420 million.

The new HUAWEI nova 7 SE brings to the table a 3D Glass Double Curved Design and is available in shades of Space Silver, Crush Green and Midsummer Purple. The trendy flagship smartphone is available for purchase at Huawei official stores, Huawei authorized distributors and Huawei’s website https://bit.ly/31gfh6S priced at BD 139.900. Purchase of the new phone comes with gifts that include a Smart Scale and a 6-month free screen warranty.
