Check Out This Daily Pop-up Market in Bahrain Showcasing Local Artists and Designers

Why do we love pop-up markets? The vibe is great, we find the most unique items, and it’s an opportunity to celebrate homegrown, local talents. Imagine visiting your favourite pop-up market every day!

Bradley Cox’s upbringing on a farm taught him self-sufficiency and instilled a skill for making things by hand. On the 8th of March 2024, he established Market Street to support local artists with year-round space to showcase their goods and for avid shoppers to enjoy the pop-up experience.

“As a vendor, I realised that when there are no pop-up markets, the local artists had nowhere to go. So I created this venue as a running pop-up market where we can display our handicrafts regularly. This also provides a service to the community so that the public can easily shop for handmade goods without waiting for the next market to come around,” said Bradley.

Market Street supports local, homegrown artists, crafters, and designers who need a space to showcase and sell their work. It is a place to support and celebrate local brands and up-and-coming artists. You can find unique crafts, decor, homeware, and gifts.

The market currently hosts around 50 vendors, with more and more signing up. If you’re looking to shop handmade artefacts and help build a community-driven towards supporting local artists, head over to Market Street.

Located in Umm Al Hassam behind the British Club. You can visit Market Street from Wednesdays to Sundays, 10 AM to 6 PM. During Ramadan, Market Street is open every day between 10 AM and 10 PM.
