Bahrain records 738 new cases from 15,158 COVID-19 tests

Out of 15,158 COVID-19 tests carried out on 3 March 2021, 738 new cases have been detected among 253 expatriate workers, 477 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 8 are travel related. There were 539 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 117,026.

There are currently 60 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 126 cases receiving treatment. 6,725 are stable out of a total of 6,785 active cases.

Two Bahraini men, aged 82 and 56 and three Bahraini women, aged 88, 86 and 58 died yesterday taking the total fatalities to 458.
