Active COVID-19 cases in Bahrain reach 11,214

Out of 18,706 COVID-19 tests carried out on 12 April 2021, 1,267 new cases have been detected among 484 expatriate workers, 724 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 59 are travel related. There were 1,036 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 145,953.

There are currently 89 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 213 cases receiving treatment. 11,125 are stable out of a total of 11,214 active cases.

Four Bahrainis – two men, 106, and 67, and two women, 67, and 35 – and an expatriate man, 74, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 562.
