The Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and America Ferrera hit, directed by Greta Gerwig is being re-run at Cinépolis Cinemas in Bahrain.
Based on the eponymous fashion dolls by Mattel, Barbie is the first live-action film after numerous computer-animated films and specials. It follows Robbie’s Barbie and Gosling’s Ken self-discovery through Barbieland and the real world after an existential crisis. The film became popular among fans for its commentary on patriarchy and the effects of feminism.
