Calling all astronomy enthusiasts in Bahrain for a one-of-a-kind viewing party! Stargazers Bahrain, a group of astronomers in the Kingdom is hosting the release of the much-awaited colour images from the James Webb Space Telescope!
For the first time ever, NASA’s telescope is releasing the universe’s deepest images in full colour! The screening will happen on Tuesday, July 12 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at the Elite Grande Hotel. Stargazers Bahrain will be screening the event live along with some educational activities planned for you!

Unfolding the Universe!
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope is the largest observatory in space – a partnership with ESA (European Space Agency) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). The telescope will reveal the first set of images and data, after years of new technology development and mission planning.
“We are on the precipice of an incredibly exciting period of discovery about our universe. [Undoubtedly], the release of Webb’s first full-colour images will offer a unique moment for us all to stop and marvel at a view humanity has never seen before,” said Eric Smith, Webb program scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington.
