One of Bahrain’s favourite indoor playcentres, Playsy, is under threat of closing down.
The centre underwent a 13-month closure due to Covid-19 restrictions on children’s play centres. They were set to reopen their doors to the children of Bahrain this month, but due to failed rental negotiations, they have been unable to do so.
The kids were always welcomed and supported by the Playsy staff. Now, the parents of Bahrain are calling on others to help support Playsy by signing this petition.
Playsy served as a social meeting place for kids to develop interpersonal skills and creativity through imaginative play.
It is one of the very few drop-and-go play centres in Bahrain and offers interactive play with new age technology.
Parents in Bahrain are calling on the Bahrain City Centre management to show their support to both Playsy and its customers by entertaining meaningful discussions around an interim rental agreement, acknowledging the current Covid-19 restrictions and the current market to enable Playsy to reopen.
