‘The Sweetest Brunch’ at Baharat Restaurant offers a unique voyage of culinary discovery with a range of international dishes, fine local fayre and a mouthwatering spread of desserts. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by warm faces who led us to our table. While admiring the lively ambiance of the place, our eyes feasted on the food stations as we passed by each one of them. We were sold the moment our eyes met the eclectic array of desserts, 130 kinds of sweets to be exact.
The buffet was plentifully stocked and seemed to cover all the international favourites that we would expect. From fresh salads and sushis to savoury meats and juicy seafood, you can pile your plate high and eat to your heart’s content. What we liked about the brunch was that you can move from one bountiful spread to another easily because of its space. The interactive chef-to-diner experience from the live cooking stations is definitely noteworthy as well!
We worked our way around the exquisite starters, mains and desserts. The breadth of food choices was impressive and the quality of the dishes, especially the desserts, was extraordinary. The staff were very attentive and our glasses were consistently filled up during the afternoon. Meanwhile, the music from the live band kept us in an energetic mood for the rest of the course.
Overall, Baharat Restaurant surpassed all of our expectations. It’s the place to visit to recharge from the hustle and bustle that usually surrounds the city. The decor, ambiance, and amazing food all blended together for a sophisticated Friday brunch like none other. It’s definitely the sweetest brunch in Bahrain!
