There is no shortage of Iftars and Ghabgas in Bahrain. However, not all of them provide consistency in terms of their offerings. We recently visited Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain for Iftar and we were extremely pleased with the Ramadan experience they’ve set up at Baharat Restaurant.
Located on the ground floor of Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain, Baharat is a restaurant featuring delicious Middle Eastern culinary experiences and warm Arab hospitality. Guests visiting Baharat will have an unforgettable experience when breaking fast because it is a setting that highlights the perfect balance between intimacy and celebration.
During Ramadan, the restaurant transports guests into a gastronomical journey prepared by Chef Ahmed Salem and his team. Here, everyone can savour a variety of traditional delights such as ouzi, machboos, biryani, tikka, tagine and more. The buffet also offers a wide variety of salads, starters as well as some hot and cold mezzeh. Moreover, there are multiple food stations crafted to satiate everyone’s discerning tastes.
Don’t miss on the delectable array of desserts featuring sweets and fresh pastries, that are all designed to be shared with family and friends. We particularly enjoyed the kunafa and baklava among the spread of equally appealing desserts.
The Iftar at Baharat is available from sunset to 8:30pm for BD18 net including Arabic juices, water, soft drinks and chilled juices. Kids from 6 to 12 years can dine for BD8 met and those who are below the age of 6 can dine for free. Meanwhile, the Ghabga at Baharat is priced at BD18 net and is available from 9pm to 2am. Shisha service is offered from sunset to 12:30am. Guests can enjoy 20% off on Iftar at Baharat Restaurant when they sign up for Marriott Bonvoy membership during their visit or if guests are already Marriott Bonvoy members.
Overall, we had an exceptional time trying Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain’s Ramadan experience. We loved how consistently good each visit at the hotel is.
