Let’s talk about the Layali Ramadan by The ART Hotel & Resort! The five-star hotel never fails to astound usever since they launched this concept last year. This year, they have elevated the experience by hosting the Iftar at Choices and the Ghabga at WU.
If you want to spend your evenings differently, you should definitely check out The Art Hotel & Resort’s Ramadan experiences. The ART offers a fresh take on their Iftar and Ghabga feasts by fusing contemporary trends and traditional traditions elegantly. The place was decorated with beautifully-lit lanterns in the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan and we just love how it adds up to the ambiance.
Priced at BD18, the Iftar at Choices features a fine spread of Arabic favourites – from cold mezzes like tabouleh, Fattoush, baba ghanoush, hot mezzes like kibbeh, fatayer and samosas to signature mains like ouzi, machboos, and mixed grills. For desserts, a selection of filo pastries, traditional sweets, baked goods and more are available. There is a variety of thirst quenchers like juices and tea on feature during the Iftar too.
Meanwhile, The ART Hotel & Resort’s Ghabga is hosted at the newly revamped WU Restaurant & Lounge. Unlike the Iftar buffet, guests who are dining for Ghabga at WU choose from an array of ala carte Mediterranean and international dishes. We indulged in the tastefully prepared dishes from the menu during our visit. Our favourites during the visit were the Signature Mixed Grill, Gambas Bravas and Grilled Angus Beef.
We loved the ambiance and hospitality that we experienced during our visit. The outdoor location definitely brought the whole thing to another level. The experience was further enhanced by the fabulous Lebanese Kanoun player Sofi Zein.
Overall, we definitely think that spending Iftar or Ghabga at The ART should be on top of your Ramadan to-do list! We can’t recommend it enough!
