Oscars 2024: Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ Bags 7 Awards

The film, depicting the epic story of the nuclear weapons scientist, won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, among other categories.

Director Christopher Nolan also fulfilled his award show frontrunner status, winning his first Oscar for Oppenheimer.

The film earned a leading 13 nominations at the 96th Academy Awards.

Actor Cillian Murphy bagged the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the biopic ‘Oppenheimer’.

‘Oppenheimer’ also won the awards for Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score at the Academy Awards.

On the other hand, Emma Stone claimed the Best Actress trophy for her role in the dark comedy “Poor Things”.

The harrowing Holocaust drama “The Zone of Interest”, won the Academy Award for best international film.
