Logos Hope: Check Out the World’s Largest Floating Bookfair Docking in Bahrain this Week!

Over the next two weeks, people in Bahrain will get to witness a rare book fair with over 5,000 titles floating at the Khalifa bin Salman Port! We’re talking about Logos Hope, a volunteer-run mission that has dropped the anchor in Bahrain, opening its doors to scores of visitors to its ship – the largest floating bookfair in the world.

The ship has docked at 146 ports across 81 different countries, recording a total of 9,607,312 visitors.

The crew aboard Logos Hope are non-salaried volunteers, professionally working as seafarers, engineers, electricians, nurses, teachers, and cooks. Together, they represent 60 different nationalities, making the community an expression of international goodwill and understanding. The crew also spend time engaging with the community outside the port, visiting and supplying medical aids, study material, etc to hospitals and schools.
