The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities recently announced the procedure of obtaining photography permits in museums and archaeological sites around the Kingdom.
Below are the requirements:
Photography for personal purposes:
Photography for personal purposes using mobile phones and personal cameras is allowed inside the Bahrain National Museum and archaeological sites so long as the the relevant rules and regulations at each location are followed.
Photography by media organizations for commercial purposes:
Photography by media organizations of any type inside the Bahrain National Museum and archaeological sites is subject to specific conditions. Organizations need to obtain a written permission by emailing locations@culture.gov.bh
