Vermut a tu Salud makes a comeback at one of Bahrain’s favourite Spanish restaurants, Salero. We visited the restaurant at The Westin City Centre Bahrain last weekend for an afternoon of fun, flavour, and the most intoxicating flamenco performances by their in-house band.
Chef Ruben Torres put together a lavish spread. We indulged in assorted Spanish tapas such as the signature Patatas Bravas, which is traditional fried potatoes with spicy sweet paprika sauce and aioli; as well as mixed croquettes enhanced with chicken, prawns, and mushrooms.
Of course, no Spanish Fiesta is complete without Paella – Chicken and Vegetable Paella alongside Seafood Paella was the menu highlight. Refreshing red and white Sangria complemented the dishes perfectly.
Intricate foot taps on the wooden floorboard, accompanied by soulful vocals and the strumming of guitar uplifted the entire brunch experience. The Spanish Folkloric tradition, Flamenco gives Salero an edge. Together, with Spanish tapas and refreshing Sangria, we were whisked away to Spain with this indulgent Saturday brunch.
You can check out Vermut a tu Salud every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Salero, on the first floor of The Westin City Centre Bahrain.
