Wondering where you can get aesthetic home decor without breaking the bank? This Bahrain-based shop lets you customize your own posters, canvases and more! Just recently we had the chance to talk to the creators behind Posters Arena.
Tell us a bit about Posters Arena, what motivated you to create this?
Poster Area is an online business on Instagram that sells customised frames, canvases, stickers, posters and more!
We are two partners: Elizabeth Anne and Mazen Magdi who both moved into new houses during the same year. One thing we both noticed was that the houses were plain, simple and almost incomplete. There was no dynamic in the design and so an idea clicked. We decided to start this business to hopefully turn people’s houses into their own personal homes, at an affordable price of course!
What services do you offer?
We offer custom canvases, frames, posters, stickers and any other print you need. We also make ‘custom layouts’ where we personally design an empty wall with frames and posters of your liking digitally so that you can view it before buying the posters/canvases/frames.
Furthermore, we make customized gift boxes that you can send to your loved ones that include a frame/poster of your choice, stickers, personalized letters and anything else you’d like to incorporate.
What/who does your cause support?
We first started out as two university friends who needed to make a little money, to somewhat help us during this difficult time but as the business grew further, we started to donate our profits to the less fortunate.
Since then we’ve donated a percentage of our profits to the Lebanon Red Cross and are hopefully going to do the same with Breast Cancer awareness this month.
