The land between two seas – Bahrain is a paradise for beach lovers. One can relax by the sandy clean beaches of Bahrain, attend beach festivals, or go kayaking and surfing in the open waters.
Bilaj Al Jazayer
Bilaj Al Jazayer is a family-friendly public beach where visitors can enjoy a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach offers a range of activities and facilities, including F&B outlets, water sports and activities, as well as toilets, showers, and changing rooms.
Marassi Beach
Marassi Beach hosts Bahrain’s first food truck court offering international and local favourites. It also hosts regular weekend events including pop-up markets, outdoor movies, and children’s games.
Visitors can enjoy jet skiing, towable rides, stand-up paddle boards, and thrill rides such as zup boarding or kneeboarding, paddle boat rides, wakeboarding, kayaking, fishing, and sailing. There is also a children’s play area and a waterside walkway for joggers.
Water Garden City Beach
With water as one of the key assets in Water Garden City, the master plan was carefully designed to maximize its value. There are two main water bodies integrated within the development, the marina and the beach.
Visitors can enjoy a range of water sports activities, relax on the beach, and with the Marina Promenade Dining Strip nearby, visitors can also enjoy a variety of cafes and restaurants. It is an ideal environment for recreation and events including water festivals.
Beach Culture – Bahrain Bay & Bilaj Al Jazayer
Beach Culture is Bahrain’s first beach-specialized company that began with a passion to imbibe a love for the beach lifestyle among residents. The group is diversifying the maritime and beach culture in the country to create a unique, healthy, sustainable, and eco-friendly waterfront environment.
Visitors can enjoy 1-hour guided paddleboard tours, 2-hour sunset sessions, LED paddle boarding, kayak services, party boards that can accommodate 6 people, as well as SUP yoga at Bahrain Bay. Group sailing lessons, private and group surfing lessons, paddle boats, sea bikes, guided paddle board tours, party boards, and kayak services can be enjoyed at Bilaj Al Jazayer.
