H.E. Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, reviewed a number of projects that the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is working to accomplish, as part of its plan to preserve the national identity, especially as the authority devoted this year 2020 under the slogan “Dilmun: Land of Density”.
Cooperation was also discussed to improve the infrastructure of the ancient city of Muharraq, especially with the presence of the Pearl Road on the list of UNESCO’s World Humanitarian Heritage since 2012, and after Muharraq Revival Project won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture for 2019.
