A total of 90,000 attended the National Day festival that was organized over four continuous days, announced the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
The BIC added that the festivals started from Friday, December 13 to Monday, December 16 in the BIC premises in Sakhir, were a great success and full of distinctive entertainment activities and concerts.
For his part, the Chief Executive of the BIC Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said it was a great honour to host four days of these major celebrations at the BIC. He expressed his pride and happiness to see the massive crowds enjoying daily the celebrations whether he noted, the national day’s celebrations or the World Endurance Championship.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates national celebrations for on several occasions. It is the 48th its National Independence Day, a commemoration of the founding of the Bahraini state during the reign of the founder Ahmed Al-Fateh as an Arab Muslim country in 1783, a commemoration of its accession to the United Nations as a full-fledged nation and the 20th anniversary of H.M. the King accession to the throne.
