Out of 12535 COVID-19 tests carried out on 8 June 2021, 1279 new cases have been detected in Bahrain.
Of these, 551 were expatriate workers, 727 new cases were contacts of active cases, and 1 travel related.
There were 2367 recoveries, increasing total to 233480.
There are currently 335 cases in a critical condition, and 452 cases receiving treatment. 18903 are stable out of a total of 19238 active cases.
