Harvesters Pub & Terrace at Crowne Plaza Bahrain has recently welcomed Tania Hollingworth to join the team as the Bar Manager. Tania brings a wealth of experience alongside a dedication to quality service and a passion and creativity for creating memorable experiences for guests.
Originally, from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Tania first moved to Dubai 15 years ago after getting a degree in law and discovered a passion for the food and beverage industry whilst working at Asha’s Restaurant, Wafi city.
She was quickly absorbed as an International trainer for the Insight Group (Alshaya Group) after just six months, giving her an opportunity to work with experienced peers in the industry, instilling in her the high quality standards of service and team leadership required for the job.
It was during this time, that Tania’s passion for the hospitality grew and she was curious to explore the possibilities in this industry. Her knowledge of operation, logistics, menu creation and good understanding of client needs, was further advanced when in 2009, Tania had the opportunity of working at the Emirate Sevens Stadium in Dubai, managing prestigious events like Emirates Airlines Dubai Rugby Sevens, a Rod Steward Concert and many similar events.
In her new role Tania will be working closely with her team, bringing a level of innovation and development to the bar. Believing every drink should have a story of inspiration behind it, Tania is keen to incorporate exciting ingredients and research into the offering at Harvesters Bar.
Besides her aim to produce an interesting range of food and beverage offering at this venue, she is also keen to bring the Harvesters brand to its original glory of being a popular gastropub.
