Leaders in Bahrain Hospitality: Gallery 21 GM Chafik Zara

Tell us something personal, what are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My strength is that I am very honest person and I like to build relationships for an open network. At the same time, I like brainstorming with my team and colleagues on any projects because I strongly believe that many opinions are better than one. My weakness is that I won’t let go for my passion project as soon as I am definitely convinced that it is perfect.

In a fiercely competitive market, how do you plan on remaining at the forefront of the hospitality game?

By being open minded and adaptable to the changes. We also try to be innovative and creative in our offers and promotions to attract the guest’s needs. Opportunities, whether it be small or risky, should be taken advantage of to lead the market.

What has been the biggest challenges and successes of the past year?

To introduce Gallery 21 as brand new attractive product with a new concept into the market (no previous influence of the brand). On the other note, we had the success of being one of the most popular venue for night life experience, as well as weddings, VIP Corporate and more.

What are your future plans for Gallery 21?

To open new branches under Gallery 21 in Bahrain and why not in Middle East as a franchise.

Which part of Bahrain is your favorite and why?

Adliya, because it’s center point of outstanding entertainment, food & beverages, complemented with a walk-friendly district.
