Tonymoly is known for having some of the cutest K-beauty products in South Korea and beyond. The brand has even collaborated with a K-pop group and a spicy ramen company for the sake of quirkily packaged cosmetics. But now, it seems Tonymoly is going in a more high-fashion direction with its latest collab: a makeup collection with legendary Italian design house Moschino.
Instagram’s go-to account for breaking beauty-launch news, Trendmood, shared several photos of the collection, which looks very true to Moschino’s signature style with its black and gold packaging and splashes of color. According to the caption, the products range from $15 to $79. There’s the Chic Stay Tint, a doe-foot liquid lip color that comes in shades with names like Russian Bold, Lady Orange, Dragon Red, and Mild Rose. If you’re more of a bullet-based lip-color kinda makeup fan, you’ll probably want to snag the Lip Market Matte Bar, which comes in three shades: Maple Red, Brick Fatale, and Evening Hour.
No K-beauty makeup collection would be complete without a couple compacts, and the Tonymoly x Moschino collection serves up exactly that. Gold Edition Chic Skin Cushion is a foundation that features a logo-debossed cushion and an impressive SPF 50. There’s also the Chic Skin Essence Pact, a colorfully packaged compact that appears to contain a swirling, tinted essence for color-correcting the complexion.
And because Moschino is known for its fun phone cases, it only makes sense that the two eye shadow palettes come packaged in actual phone cases that can be removed and used on a smartphone. Once you get over how cool that is, you’ll find eight shades inside each one. In addition to another eye shadow palette that resembles a Moschino bag, the collection also includes a matte liquid eyeliner and — because Tonymoly knows skin care is the first step in a great makeup routine — a moisturizer called Floria Nutra Energy 100 Hours Cream.
Trendmood’s caption says that the Tonymoly x Moschino collection is an “Asia #KBeauty exclusive” and isn’t sold on Tonymoly’s U.S. site — only etonymoly.com. However, we’ve heard from the brand that the collection will, in fact, be available in the U.S. exclusively on tonymoly.us in December. So hang tight, Moschino fans — you’ll be able to snag this collaboration soon.
