HH Sheikh Nasser Wins the World Endurance Championship Title!

It was a celebratory moment at the Boudheeb Global Endurance Ville in Abu Dhabi when HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa clinched his World Endurance Championship title. The 160-km race saw him contending with 126 others.

HM the King praised HH Shaikh Nasser’s outstanding performance, which enabled him to win the championship, reflecting the standing of the endurance sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He remarked that the sport is deeply rooted in the history and heritage of the region, stressing keenness to further support and develop the sport.

Sheikh Nasser outclassed other contenders from the United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and Spain to win the race and clinch the trophy, clocking 7 hours, 36 minutes and 39 seconds.

He hailed the success of the United Arab Emirates in hosting the world endurance championship, praising the outstanding organization which reflects the UAE’s ability to hold major sporting events.
