Located in the heart of Muharraq, “Pearling, Testimony of an Island Economy” became the second UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bahrain. Famously known as Pearling Path, it is a testament to the unique legacy of Bahrain’s pearling era–documenting a period in history when the Kingdom’s economy was largely dependent on pearling trades.
