3 Bahraini skateboarders showcased their talent at the international qualifying event for the Paris Skateboarding Olympics 2024. They were among 750 skateboarders from 65 different countries participating in the week-long event!
Ahmed Haji, Saif Abdulrahman, and Faheem AlBalooshi made it their mission to join the competition and represent Bahrain. They’ve left a mark by showing off their talents, making connections, and most importantly, putting Bahrain on the map for the Skateboarding Olympics.
“They hope to one day start a federation in Bahrain in hopes of one day going into the 2024 Olympics in Paris. They are also setting their eyes and pushing themselves to grow the skateboarding community in Bahrain and take it to Rome in June 2023,” said a representative of the three skateboarders.
