Surf & Turf: Waikiki Kitchen Theme Night Review

Bahrain Confidential experiences a slice of paradise at Elite Crystal Hotel’s Waikiki Kitchen.

Waikiki Kitchen is a Polynesian restaurant offering great flavours, signature drinks, a poolside bar and more!

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the Food & Beverages Manager Mr. Bharathi. While admiring the picturesque interior of the Waikiki Kitchen, the Food & Beverages Manager commented how passion has greatly influenced this place, from sourcing out authentic Polynesian artworks and masterpieces for a genuine feel. True enough, we were already very impressed by the entire ambiance; the place echoes the Polynesian’s rich design, from fabrics to artwork to wood details.

Theme Night review at Waikiki Kitchen for Elite editorial-14

The staff was more than friendly and we were quickly escorted to the lounge with the best view of the pool. Moving on to what we really came for… the food! The best dish of the night was the sublime ‘Flaming Seafood Platter’ – it is stacked with a gigantic array of freshness and tastiness. At a remarkable price of BD6++, guests can experience the unique and legendary seafood platter from Waikiki Kitchen’s fresh seafood boat as well as a beverage!

We also tried the ‘Maui Kabobs’, skewers of marinated chicken with jerk spice, cubes of pineapple and sausages kabob grilled to perfection with pineapple salsa. The skewered meats emitted spellbinding aromas that left us wanting more.

The ‘Ono Mokulele’, which consists of crumb fried butterflied prawns served with ginger mango aioli and lemon wedges were not less delicious.

To ensure an even greater time, try Waikiki Kitchen’s themed nights including a ‘Wings Night’ where you can indulge in unlimited hot & spicy buffalo wings with a beverage for just BD6++! You can also enjoy their pool parties every Friday from 1pm to 8pm! Avail the special package priced at BD25 net inclusive of unlimited selected beverages and live grills.

Waikiki Kitchen is definitely a cool place to hang out and relax with their vibrant ambiance. During our visit, the live entertainment caused guests to get up and moving around the restaurant. Additionally, the staff is welcoming and you’ll get your money’s worth at this restaurant. If you’re in the area or looking for a fun night out, head straight to Waikiki Kitchen! Mahalo!
