The weekend tends to get all the attention, but the working week in Bahrain has plenty going for it once the laptop closes. From Sunday to Wednesday, the island’s hotels, restaurants and cafés keep the calendar busy with themed nights, dining deals and smaller cultural gatherings, so a weeknight can be more than a gap between shifts.

Peppa Pig’s Day of Adventure at Marassi Galleria
A proper day out built mainly for younger children, with Peppa and friends taking over the mall for a full run of activities.
