What is ‘pinsa’ and where can you get it in Bahrain?

The word Pinsa comes from the Latin word “Pinsere” that means to stretch or to spread. The traditional recipe has been revisited several times over the centuries, until nowadays.

In Bahrain, there’s a new place currently creating a hype for reinventing this goodness! Re-Doh is a concept by Urban Slice specializing in the Roman flatbread.

They have a pretty good selection of Pinsas made with premium meats, the best range of cheese and fresh locally sourced GMO free veggies.

The bread, however, is what makes Re-Doh’s pinsas special… it’s a combination of grains and flours which is fermented for 36 hours!
