On the weekend of the 11th and 12th February 2022, St. Christopher’s School, Bahrain hosted an extremely successful Charity Debate directed by students – Aanvi Sharma, Areeba Lalani and Ayushi Gupta.
This competition consisted of over 30 teams from more than 5 schools across Bahrain competing against each other on a wide range of topics varying from historical to socioeconomic issues.
This event provided participants with an opportunity to not only learn more about debating but also to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
Through the event, they were able to raise over BD 1,600 for the Dreams Society, a local Bahraini charity who believe in bringing joy to terminally ill children by making their wishes come true.
