The Bahraini Farmers Market returns in its ninth edition in December following a one-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The ninth edition of the Market attracts 37 farmers and four farming companies.
The Farmers market is organized at the Budaiya Botanical Gardens. The ninth edition will be limited to shops selling local agricultural produce, and to a number of restaurants without the accompanying recreational activities.
Market doors are open from 7:00AM to 1:00PM every Saturday until the 27th of March 2022.
First introduced in 2012, the Farmer’s Market was an initiative to develop the agriculture sector in Bahrain to support more sustainable food production and the promote the sale of products produced sustainably.
