Out of 18,658 COVID-19 tests carried out on 29 May 2021, 3,274 new cases have been detected among 1,275 expats, 1,988 are contacts and 11 travel related.
There were 2,533 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 205,962.
Sixteen deaths were recorded, taking the death toll to 939. No no information was provided on the ages of those who died or whether they suffered any pre-existing medical conditions.
There are currently 291 cases in critical condition and 412 receiving treatment. 28,507 are stable out of a total of 28,798 active cases.
