Stay safe: Bahrain records 1,502 new COVID-19 cases

Out of 15,594 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 1502 new cases have been detected among 560 expatriate workers, 909 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 33 travel related. There were 1,321 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 174,357.

Four people died yesterday, taking the death toll to 678. It included two Bahraini men, 92 and 62, a Bahraini woman, 56, and an expat man, 34. No information was provided if they suffered any preexisting medical conditions.


There are currently 114 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 219 cases receiving treatment. 12,756 are stable out of a total of 12,870 active cases.
