Stay home: Over 3,000 new coronavirus cases recorded

Out of 20459 COVID-19 tests carried out on 27 May 2021, 3051 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of these, 1184 were expatriate workers, 1861 were contacts of active cases, and 6 were travel related.

A total of 14 Bahrainis (seven men aged 78, 68, 66, 47, 79, 60 and 78, and seven women, 68, 80, 93, 81, 83, 38 and 47) died yesterday, taking the death toll to 902.

Six expats, aged 52, 55, 48, 67, 47 and 33, also died of the virus.
