Spun Candy Opens its First Outlet in Bahrain

Premium British candy makers, Spun Candy, open in The Avenues

Spun Candy, the UK’s premium candy makers, opened its first shop in Bahrain this week. Local franchisee, Kingdom Gourmet, welcomed Spun Candy as a great addition to Bahrain’s food scene, recognizing the demands for traditional candy makers in the Kingdom.Spun Candy first opened its doors in London in 2013 and has since developed hundreds of designs and flavours of confectionery for its customers. The brand has evolved, pushed boundaries and grown due to customer demands and global trends. Spun Candy now has outlets in the UAE, USA and Egypt.

Speaking at the opening of Spun Candy, the founder James Ellender said, “We are delighted to see Spun Candy open in Bahrain and to collaborate with Kingdom Gourmet. The demand for high quality candy is global and cross-generational, with customers wanting natural flavours, GM free products and vegetarian candies”.

Spun Candy offers bespoke and personalised candies, ideal for parties, weddings and corporate gifts. Masterclasses are soon to be launched at the shop, where both children and adults can learn the art of traditional candy making themselves.
