One of Bahrain’s most anticipated events is back with more exciting shows!
For over a decade, the Spring of Culture has put together a packed agenda of sensational award-winning shows and activities which cater to a broad spectrum of tastes. This year, the Spring of Culture is back with a full agenda of exciting shows with top artists that range from dance, theatre, art, music, and song, as well as other cultural activities held throughout the island. These happenings highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage and unique historic and civil landmarks, while at the same time presenting to residents and visitors of the country boundless opportunities for education, exploration, and entertainment!
Spring of Culture is organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, the Economic Development Board, and Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research, in collaboration with Albareh Art Gallery, Al Riwaq Art Space, and La Fontaine Art Centre. The Spring of Culture coincides with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ new slogan this year under the name of “Our Year of Archaeology”. This highlights the Archaeological heritage of Bahrain which dates back thousands of years and introduce it to the local and international audiences, through a cultural agenda which will act as an archaeological guide that moves through the main sites in Bahrain revealing some of their untold stories. ν
