Royal Bahrain Concours 2026: What to Expect at the 2nd Edition of this Car Showcase

Royal Bahrain Concours 2026: What to Expect at the 2nd Edition of this Car Showcase

Car enthusiasts tend to know within seconds whether an event is the real deal. The Royal Bahrain Concours passed that test in its first year, and it’s back for round two on 6 and 7 November 2026, at the Royal Golf Club in Riffa, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

If you missed the debut, here’s the short version: rare cars, serious collectors, and a setting that makes traffic feel a world away.

What’s on Show

Expect 60 exceptional collector cars, 40 pulled from major GCC-based collections and 20 flown in from further afield, plus around 200 members’ cars representing the region’s leading car clubs. That’s everything from vintage classics to hypercars that look like they escaped a wind tunnel, parked out on grass instead of stuck under museum lighting.

Two Days, Two Very Different Moods

Friday, 6 November is Premier Day. Gates open at 12:30 pm, with car presentations and stage entertainment filling the afternoon. It’s the calmer of the two, good for a first proper look at what’s parked up before the crowds build.

Saturday, 7 November is Prestige Day, when the trophies are handed out. Categories on the bill include Restomod and Modified, Thirty Under 30 and 4×4, building up to the class prizes, the Crown Prince of Bahrain Award, and Best of Show. There’s a masterclass and live entertainment too, and the day wraps with the Grand Depart, when the featured cars fire up one last time and drive off the grounds. Timings can shift, though, so check closer to the date.

The Categories That Make It More Than a Static Display

Thirty Under 30 puts the spotlight on younger collectors, proving heritage isn’t only an older generation’s hobby. Restomod and Modified looks at what happens when a classic shape meets modern engineering. The 4×4 category nods to the vehicles that changed how people got around off-road. Saturday also brings a Ladies Concours for rare cars owned by women, and a Junior Concours of hand-built half-scale cars.

The Setting Does Some of the Work Too

The Royal Golf Club has green fairways rolling out across Riffa Views, and that open-air layout means you can wander between displays rather than shuffling in a queue. Local and international food and drink stalls are planned, along with VIP hospitality for anyone wanting a more sheltered vantage point. From Manama, it’s roughly a 20 to 30-minute drive in normal traffic, but allow extra time for busier sessions.

Tickets and What to Wear

Tickets cover single-day entry for either date or a two-day pass, with reduced admission for children under 12 buying alongside an adult ticket. Everything’s digital, so a phone with the ticket loaded is all you need at the gate. Dress-wise, think smart casual with comfortable shoes, since you’ll be on your feet across a grass venue. November in Bahrain is kind, but pack sunglasses for the afternoon glare and something light for once the sun drops.

Turning It Into a Full Day Out

Riffa isn’t far from Manama, so there’s no reason to treat this as a single stop. Spend the morning at the souqs or one of the museums, then head out for the afternoon programme. Those planning a trip around the event should sort accommodation and transport early, since November tends to fill up fast. Check the official Royal Bahrain Concours website before you go, since ticket details and the running order can change as the date gets closer.
