Ramadan Elegance: The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Launches Layali Al Noor

Bahraincover

If there’s one thing we always count on as the month of Ramadan begins, it’s The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s exquisite experiences. But in 2026, they aren’t just hosting Ramadan dining specials; they’ve completely flipped the script. Introducing Layali Al Noor, a brand-new, massive venue that’s officially taking centre stage at the five-star hotel this Ramadan.

We dropped by the media Ghabga to see what the hype was about, and what we witnessed was an evening that stood apart from what we usually see at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain. The night wasn’t just about the food; it was a celebratory reunion. General Manager Bernard de Villèle and the rest of the senior leadership of the hotel made their presence known – an all-hands experience that brought the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Ritz-Carlton under the same roof as the wider community on the island.

A Fresh Vibe for a New Season

Previous Ramadan experiences had elegant charms of their own, but with Layali Al Noor, the hotel seems to have taken the meaning of Ramadan dining to another level. It’s The Ritz’s largest Ramadan setup yet, and it manages to maintain a delicate balance between grand and cosy. They’ve managed to blend those classic Bahraini traditions we all crave with that signature Ritz-Carlton polish.

What catches the eye is the layout: instead of one giant, echoing hall, they’ve split the space into five different themed areas. If you’re in the mood for a loud, buzzing social night with friends, there’s a spot for that. If you want a quiet, intimate Suhoor where you can have meaningful conversations with the family, you can find a corner for that, as well.

55 Food Stations

Let’s get into the main event: the food. When we say there are 55 stations, we mean it’s basically a culinary marathon. You’ve got all the heavy hitters, authentic Bahraini and Moroccan dishes, classic Gouzi, and those smoky Middle Eastern grills that define Ramadan.

But then, things get global. We’re talking fresh seafood, Mediterranean spreads, and Asian specialities that could satisfy any craving. The live cooking stations at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain keep the energy high, and you can really taste the quality of the local ingredients.

Pro tip: Leave a significant amount of room for the dessert section. It’s not just a section; it’s an experience.

The Lowdown on Times and Prices

Planning your visit? Here’s the deal. The Iftar buffet at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain kicks off at sundown and runs until 8:00 pm. From Saturday to Wednesday, it’s BHD 38 per person, and it bumps up to BHD 42 on Thursday and Friday.

If you prefer the late-night Ghabga vibe, head over to Layali Al Noor between 9:00 pm and 2:00 am. The Ghabga experience is priced at BHD 42 from Saturday to Wednesday and BHD 44 on the weekends. Got kids? Little ones aged 6 to 12 can join the feast for BHD 16. For bookings, contact +973 17586499.

The whole vibe is levelled up this year thanks to some big-name partners like BBK, Credimax, and the folks at Behbehani Brothers (bringing the Bentley and Lamborghini flair to the mix).

Beyond the Tent

While Layali Al Noor is the shiny new place to be this Ramadan, the rest of The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, is still bringing charming experiences. If you want to switch things up, Nirvana is serving the Great Indian Iftar Thali: think aromatic curries and tandoori meats for BHD 25++ (Tuesday to Sunday).

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more European, The Ritz Gourmet Lounge and La Gourmandise are serving up signature afternoon teas and artisanal chocolates. The legendary 1kg Croissant À La Grande is still on the menu if you want to bring something quirky and unique to your next gathering.

Whether you’re there for the massive variety at the new Ramadan venue or a relaxing tea at the lounge, The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain has clearly poured a lot of heart into this season. It’s the perfect backdrop for evenings well-spent that make Ramadan on the island so special.
