The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain has long been defined by its beachfront setting, its restaurants, the health club and the villas. Now the resort is extending its reach beyond the property. A new collection of experiences covers everything from at-home wedding planning and private catering to villa staycations and restaurant-quality takeaway from eight of its venues.
Here’s what’s worth knowing.
The Hotel is now offering to plan and execute weddings in your own home. The idea is straightforward: their team handles the transformation of your space, the table settings, and the menu, while you get to celebrate somewhere that already means something to you.
It’s a concept that suits Bahrain well, where family homes often carry real significance and where intimate gatherings can feel more personal than a ballroom ever could. If you’ve been to an event at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, you would have seen the level of detail. The only difference now is the space. Leave it to the professionals to transform it for your big day.
Aside from the wedding offering, the resort now runs a full at-home catering service for intimate gatherings and larger events. The highlight is the live chef-led cooking stations, each inspired by one of the hotel’s restaurants: La Terrace, Cantina Kahlo, Nirvana, Primavera, Gourmet Lounge, Thai Lounge, and Plums.
Think of it as bringing the energy of those award-winning kitchens to your own gathering. Dishes are prepared on-site, which adds a bit of theatre to the evening and takes the pressure off whoever is hosting. It works for a dinner party of ten just as well as a larger corporate function.
Eight of the resort’s restaurants and lounges are now offering curated to-go menus: Plums, Nirvana, La Terrace, Primavera, Cantina Kahlo, Thai Lounge, La Plage and The Ritz Gourmet Lounge.
The menus are designed for sharing, whether that’s a Friday lunch at home or something more elaborate. The portions and presentation carry the same standard as dining in, which makes it a solid option. Worth bookmarking for those home gatherings or last-minute hosting.
Two experiences at the resort are showing us why a visit soon might be a good reason.
Bahrain’s staycationers have long called the RC Villas a “Maldives in Manama” experience – and it’s easy to see why. Each comes with a private pool, direct beach access and enough space to make you forget you’re technically still in a hotel. The villa staycation package leans into that seclusion, with dedicated service on hand without being intrusive.
If you haven’t stayed in one before, the pace is different from the main resort. Mornings are unhurried, afternoons drift, and there’s very little reason to leave your stretch of sand. It’s the kind of reset that doesn’t require an airport.
The spa has introduced a few signature treatments worth noting, but the standout is the Ultimate Radiance and Renewal Facial. Using ESPA products, it combines lifting and resurfacing techniques designed to leave skin noticeably brighter and smoother. It’s being positioned as a pre-event treatment, but honestly, you don’t need a reason beyond wanting one.
The wider spa menu continues to offer deeply restorative massages and results-driven facials, all tailored on arrival. If you’re already familiar with the spa, the quality hasn’t shifted. It’s just a broader menu now.
