Qatar Airways is bringing back its daily service between Doha and Bahrain International Airport from 1 May 2026, restoring one of the busiest short-haul links in the Gulf after weeks of disruption.
The Bahrain (BAH) route returns alongside daily flights to Kozhikode (CCJ) in Kerala and Damascus (DAM) in Syria, all three coming back online on the same date. The announcement comes after the airline resumed daily services to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ) on 23 April.
For Bahrain residents who rely on the Doha hop for onward connections, the return of a daily schedule means more flexibility for business travel, family visits, and longer-haul transfers through Hamad International.
The 25-minute flight between Manama and Doha has long been one of the most-used routes in the region, feeding into Qatar Airways’ wider network across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. With daily frequency restored, passengers based in Bahrain regain direct access to onward services across six continents through Doha.
Qatar Airways is continuing to rebuild its schedule in phases following the regional airspace closures earlier this year. The Bahrain resumption sits within that broader recovery plan.
Qatar Airways has confirmed flexible options for passengers whose travel plans have shifted during the disruption period.
