Qatar Airways is Resuming Daily Bahrain Flights Starting 1 May

Qatar Airways is bringing back its daily service between Doha and Bahrain International Airport from 1 May 2026, restoring one of the busiest short-haul links in the Gulf after weeks of disruption.

The Bahrain (BAH) route returns alongside daily flights to Kozhikode (CCJ) in Kerala and Damascus (DAM) in Syria, all three coming back online on the same date. The announcement comes after the airline resumed daily services to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ) on 23 April.

If you hold a ticket issued by 30 April 2026, with travel dates between 28 February and 15 September 2026, you can:

• Change your travel date free of charge to any new date up to 31 October 2026, when rebooking on a Qatar Airways-operated flight. Availability and fare seasonality apply.
• Request a refund of the unused ticket value under standard fare rules. Refunds can take up to 28 working days to process.

If your specific flight is changed or cancelled by the airline, you are also entitled to:

• Additional no-cost changes until 31 October 2026 in the same cabin class, regardless of fare seasonality.
• A complete refund of the unused ticket value, with the same 28-working-day processing window.
