Priyanka Chopra is Reportedly Poised to Tie the Knot Next Month

They celebrated their engagement with a glittering party in Mumbai back in August, and it appears another trip to India could be on the cards for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas– and this one could be even more momentous. The Quantico actress and the musician are reportedly set to marry in Chopra’s home nation next month, in a three-day affair with 200 guests present.

The couple will tie the knot in Jodhpur between November 30 and December 2, according to Times of India, with a source telling the publication the wedding will take place in a palace. While a location has not yet been confirmed, Jodhpur – the second largest city in Rajasthan – is home to the famed Umaid Bhavan Palace, where Liz Hurley wed Arun Nayyar back in 2007. Times of India also reports that the couple recently visited the city to finalize wedding arrangements, as well as visit friends, signaling the big day could be held in the imminent future.

Chopra and Jonas confirmed their betrothal several months ago after weeks of speculation, celebrating with an engagement party in India. The couple formalized their whirlwind romance of three months with a traditional Indian roka pre-wedding ceremony, with both their families in attendance. The engagement itself is believed to have taken place just weeks earlier, as Chopra and her 25-year-old beau holidayed in London. Jonas, who rose to fame as part of pop rock band the Jonas Brothers, popped the question on the Bollywood icon’s 36th birthday on July 18, the BBC reports. Jonas and Chopra were first pictured together May 2017, when they attended New York’s Met Gala together as friends.

“We were both wearing Ralph Lauren! And we decided to go together because it was fun,” Chopra told Jimmy Kimmel shortly afterwards. “Yeah we were on the same table. We know each other so we were like, ‘Hey you know what, let’s go together.’ And I was like, ‘Okay. Let’s go together!’ It just ended up working out.” However the pair weren’t romantically linked until May 2018, when they started stepping out together on a series of dates. Mabrouk to the happy couple!
