The Westin and Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain welcomed Paul Dunphy as the new Complex General Manager of the two hotels in Seef. Dunphy most recently occupied roles with Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Dubai and was the Area General Manager for the Eastern Province at the InterContinental Hotel, Al Khobar.
The hotelier boasts two decades of experience with Marriott International, serving as an Executive Assistant Manager at The Westin Dublin Hotel. He was part of the Sheraton brand in Ireland and the UK before moving to the GCC, serving as the General Manager of the Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers.
Taking charge of the two hotels in Bahrain’s vibrant retail and commercial district, Paul is “highly regarded by his colleagues for his strong strategic mindset, results-oriented approach, and outstanding customer satisfaction skills. Known for his charm, professionalism, and exceptional people skills, he excels at identifying and nurturing talent. His passion for hospitality is evident in his role as a mentor and motivator, consistently bringing out the best in his team,” read a statement by the hotels.
