A known charity volunteer, Mrs. Lynne Al-Wazzan, passed away on 21st September of a heart attack at her home in Saar.
She supported numerous community organisations such as the American Women’s Association (AWA), Indian Ladies Association (ILA), Mother and Child Welfare Society and Aisha Yateem Family Counselling Centre (AYFCC), among others.
Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, in the north of England, Lynne arrived in Bahrain 40 years ago after marrying, Intercol Director Abdulrahman. She had their three children – Ali, Mahin and Hassan.
