Over 4.29 million PCR tests have been conducted in Bahrain!

Out of 18359 COVID-19 tests carried out on 12 May 2021, 1539 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of these, 559 were expatriate workers, 970 were contacts of active cases, and 10 were travel related.

There were 1246 recoveries, increasing total to 178458.

There are currently 157 cases in a critical condition, and 211 cases receiving treatment. 14969 are stable out of a total of 15126 active cases.

Four Bahrainis – two men (69 and 61) and two women (60 and 37) as well as four expatriate men (43, 42, 42 and 37) died yesterday taking the death toll to 705. No information was provided if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.
