“Sound of Korea” is a musical concert by all-female fusion Korean classical music group QUEEN. The group paints a splendid audio-visual feast with its blend of the traditional and contemporary, using Korean traditional instrument to perform classical folk Korean pieces and modern pop covers.

Don Giovanni: Freiburg Baroque Orchestra
Where: Bahrain National Theatre

Don Giovanni is regarded as “the opera to beat all operas”. The Mozart masterpiece is simultaneously full of farce innuendo, seriousness and drama underscored by music that couldn’t be more thrilling. The opera is led by renowned Belgian conductor René Jacobs. The opera is also accompanied by Camerata Vocale Freiburg Choir.

For the first time in Bahrain, Kuwaiti/Bahraini khaleeji hip hop duo Daffy and Flipperachi will perform an official concert at the 2019 Spring of Culture Festival. Joined on stage by DJ Outlaw, a live band, and a dance crew, the concert is set to deliver top-notch quality entertainment and a setlist featuring the duo’s biggest hits. The performance will also feature the duo’s label mate and Saudi-based rapper, Lil Eazy.

Day of Photography
Where: Bin Matar House

Join the annually awaited event just before the summer break. The Day of Photography is intended as a sharing platform for the artistic and photography community in Bahrain. The program will include a panel talk on the hugely popular Bahraini project “Photos A La Chair” and a slidefest with local and regional photographers in collaboration with Dubai-based Gulf Photo Plus.
